Blissful Birth is a home birth unit where we practice safe midwifery.

 

We believe that every woman has the right to a

beautiful birth even if they do not have medical aid. Our fee structure offers a first time mother the option to deliver her baby with us for R17,000 and a second time mother for R16,000.

We believe that pregnancy and birth are a normal physiological process; our bodies are designed to conceive, grow, birth, and nurture our children. We also benefit from the past and current medical and scientific research. 

​

We deliver low-risk babies after a pregnancy of at least 37 weeks.

 

Once you are in active labour you will be welcomed at Blissful Birth where you will be attended by a Doula and two midwives.
